
Isabelle Uyaralaaq Avingaq Choquette is the curator of the Nunavik Inuit Art Collection at the Avataq Cultural Institute, based in Montreal. A graduate in Applied Museum Studies from Collège Montmorency, she is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Nunavik's material and artistic heritage. At Avataq, she oversees the management, documentation, and access of the collections, while also supporting the recognition of contemporary Inuit artists. She has contributed to major projects such as the travelling exhibition Revival: Printmaking in Nunavik (2014-2019) and Sikutsajaq, the first solo exhibition of Mary Paningajak. Isabelle also serves on several committees and is on the board of directors of the Inuit Art Foundation.
